for some free juicing recipes?
There aren't too many locations for free
juicing recipes online. The reason is that most links are trying to sell
you a book. This is because most juicers ship with a far too basic
recipe guide. The Juiceman Juicer is one exception though. If you are on
an alkaline diet or trying to lose weight, you are aware that a juicing
program can help accelerate your results. Here are some free juicing
recipes that you can make with your juicer at home, no matter your
reasons for wanting to juice.
In general, this collection of free juicing recipes contains very little
instructions. It basically is a starter to get you thinking about how
you can combine fruits and vegetables to make your own healthy green
drinks and fruit cocktails. It is assumed that you are already familiar
with your juicer and how it works. Remember to drink your juice soon
after you make it to obtain maximum nutrition.
Tomato Cocktail: 1 tomato, 1 lemon, 2 stalks of celery, 1/2 a cucumber,
dash of cayenne pepper or Tabasco sauce.
Home made V-8: 1 tomato, 1 celery stalk, 1 small zucchini, 1/2 cucumber,
1 carrot, 1/2 C of parsley, 1/2 C spinach, 1 small red beet
Apple Pie: 1 or 2 red apples (make sure they are juicy), a 1" piece of
fresh ginger, 1 carrot, a pinch of freshly ground cinnamon (added to the
glass)
Exotic Special: 1 pomegranate (all the red seeds), 1/2 C fresh
blueberries, 1 C of fresh pineapple
Popeye's Breakfast: 1 C spinach, 3 stalks of celery, 2 stalks of
asparagus, 1 large tomato, 1/2 a cucumber
'Nutty' veggie drink: 4 carrots, 3 stalks of celery, 1/2 C green
cabbage, 1/4 lemon (drink has a nutty flavor)
Ginger Ale: a 2" piece of fresh ginger, 6 large green apples, 1 C of
sparkling mineral water
These free juicing recipes are just the beginning. Keep in mind, you are
the best source for recipes. You know what flavors you like so start
combining them and experiment. If you are on an alkaline diet, remember
to go easy on the fruits and carrot juice because they are high in
sugar. Instead, try juicing jicama (if you can find it) for is subtle
sweetness. Also, if you are interested in getting a juicing book, check
your local library first. Find the book that is best for you and then
