What are
some really good juicing recipes for people on a raw food diet
that can be made in a home juicer?
There are so many reasons for using
excellent juicing recipes when you are on a raw food diet. You can get
the concentrated nutrition of a large amount of vegetables, wheat grass
and fruit in a short time. You get combine vegetables in a way that is
more palatable. You can target specific body functions. You can infuse
your body with easily absorbed vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
Lastly, you can make some of the freshest and tastiest green drinks to
enjoy.
Some
excellent juicing recipes are included below.
Basic Green Drink
Juice 3 stalks of celery, 1 cucumber, 3 leaves of kale, 3 leaves of
lettuce, 2 cups of spinach and 1/2 cup of parsley.
Veggie Wheat Grass Drink
Juice 3 carrots, 2 celery stalks, 1/2 cup of parsley. To that add 1 oz
of wheat grass juice.
Spanish Gazpacho Drink
Using your juicer, combine the juice of 3 tomatoes, 2 cucumbers, 1 red
bell pepper, 1 small jalapeno pepper (seeded if you prefer), and 2
lemons. Add that to 3 cups of water, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tsp of
salt substitute and garlic powder to taste.
Special Green Drink
Juice 4 cups of sprouts, 3 cups of any greens you like, 1/2 cup of
dandelion greens, 1/4 cup of small green onions, 1 cup of carrots
Veggie Cocktail
Juice 4 large fresh tomatoes, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic, 1 cucumber, 1
green pepper, 1/3 cup of parsley, 1/4 of a medium onion, 3 lettuce
leaves and a pinch of fresh ginger or some juiced ginger
These are some very interesting and tasty juicing recipes. Try them all
