The
master cleanser diet is the lemonade diet as written about by Stanley
Burroughs.
The master cleanser diet was written by
Stanley Burroughs. In his book, he gives directions for drinking a
special lemon drink which is cleansing. For this reason, it is sometimes
called the lemonade diet. While on the program, you drink nothing but
water and the special lemon drink whenever you feel hungry. As amazing
as it sounds, people who follow the master cleanser diet experience
feelings of increased energy, clearer thinking, better moods and of
course weight loss.
In order to begin the master cleanser diet, you first stop eating any
solid foods, supplements or vitamin pills. Next you make yourself a
batch of the lemon drink. It consists of equal parts fresh squeeze lemon
juice (or lime juice) mixed with Grade B maple syrup and added to fresh
filtered water. You add a touch of cayenne pepper to the drink.
Each of us is unique and the way Stanley Burroughs approaches disease is
unique as well. In his opinion, the case of disease can be linked to
improper diet, lack of exercise, bad mental attitude or stress and lack
of a spiritual connection. This may sound familiar if you have read
anything by Dr. Robert O Young.
So, if you decide to try the lemonade diet make sure to stick with it
for a few days. The book suggests a 10 day minimal trial. If you have
not attained the results you desire, you can go as long as 40 days.
Please consult a health care provider in any circumstance of prolonged
fasting or cleansing. The master cleanser diet will help people lose
weight. If this is a concern to you, increase the amount of maple syrup
in your drink. After following the master cleanser diet, slowly add
solid foods back into your diet. Begin with juices (fresh fruit and
vegetable juice), salads, fruits, nuts and then after a few days, cooked
foods IF you so desire.
