Stanley Burroughs
Stanley
Burroughs is best known as the author of the Master Cleanser book which
explains the virtues of the Lemonade Diet.
Stanley Burroughs is an author of 2 books
on great books on healing and cleansing. The first book is called
"Master Cleanser". The second book is called "Healing for the Age of
Enlightenment". The second book is actually 3 books in one: section one
is about the Master Cleanser process, section two is about a pressure
point therapy which he calls Vita-Flex and the last section contains
information about Color Therapy. All in all, Stanley Burroughs's most
famous writing is the Master Cleanser.
Stanley Burroughs was known as a pioneer in the field on therapeutic
healing and toxemia. In 1941, he was looking for an alternative way to
treat ulcers. The result of that work became what is widely known as the
Lemonade Diet. A few years after, he realized that it could also be used
to treat other disorders. It was at this time that he renamed his work
to the Master Cleanser.
The way Stanley Burroughs looked as disease was to picture it as an over
pollution. In his view, the accumulation of wastes, toxins, or poisons
(basically cellular stress) was the leading cause of illness in the
body. So, to overcome that, a person needed to use his lemon cleanse to
allow the body to detoxify naturally. The lemon diet is essentially a
liquid drink diet consisting of lemon or lime juice, maple syrup and a
dash of cayenne pepper mixed with water. He felt it was safe to cleanse
for at least 10 days and up to 40 days depending on your condition.
On June 16, 1991, Stanley Burroughs passed away leaving a legacy that
will most certainly live on. His works are easily obtained at most
online bookstores for a very reasonable price.
